Oralade
Oralade have been looking after our dogs since we were founded. They have provided the team dogs with Oralade and more recently Oralade Active which have formed a vital part of our care for our racing dogs.
As little as 2% dehydration (undetectable with examination of a dog) can affect brain processing and can lead to fatigue. It’s therefore vital that hydration is maintained to ensure our dogs can perform at their peak and sustain their performance. Oralade active contains ingredients to replace electrolytes, maintain hydration but also aid recovery from racing.
Our dogs are pre hydrated the morning prior to racing, kept hydrated during and replenished afterwards. Since using Oralade active all of our team members report better performance but in particular more sustained performance (no afternoon dip in speed and slower times) and faster recovery the day after racing.
Oralade are a lovely family run company and we are honoured to continue working with them who have been our cheerleaders since the start!

Hollybank Veterinary Hospital
Hollybank Veterinary Centre is an Independent Small Animal Veterinary Hospital. It was opened in 2008 following renovation of the original Hollybank House & grounds (once a GP surgery).
The practice located in Sandiway, Cheshire, offers a comprehensive range of services, ensuring canine athletes receive top-tier care. (Blue Sky team Captain David Caddell has used Sandyway Veterinary Centre to maintain the health & performance of his flyball dogs since they opened).
The modern, single-site facility is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools and staffed by a dedicated team of veterinary surgeons and nurses. This setup allows for seamless, continuous care, from routine check-ups to emergency treatments, all under one roof. Hollybank’s commitment to excellence is further demonstrated by their accreditation from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme, reflecting their adherence to the highest standards in veterinary care.
Beyond their clinical expertise, Hollybank Veterinary Centre is deeply embedded in the local community. They actively participate in village galas, country shows and provide educational opportunities for aspiring veterinary professionals. This community engagement underscores their holistic approach to animal welfare of ensuring dogs lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
Hollybank have been an unwavering supporter of our team since inception, funding club equipment and awards for our Tournaments which we host at the Cheshire Polo Club. The proximity of Hollybank to our Tournament venue also makes them an ideal choice to be the ‘Emergency Vets’ at events.
We are delighted to have Hollybank Veterinary Centre as a trusted partner and are grateful for their unwavering contribution to the success of Blue Sky Flyball Teams.
